These terms cover your use of the AFTERTRACE app and this website. AFTERTRACE is developed and operated by Praveen Kumar, an independent developer publishing under the name Beamaze. Beamaze is a publishing name, not a separate registered company. By using AFTERTRACE you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your country to agree to these terms on your own.
All cases, people, places, organisations, phone numbers, messages, photographs and recordings in AFTERTRACE are fictional.
Nothing in the game depicts a real missing-person case or a real person, living or dead, and no resemblance to any actual event is intended. AFTERTRACE is a work of entertainment. It is not a record of anything that happened, not evidence of anything, and not a tool for investigating any real matter.
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use AFTERTRACE on devices you control, for your own entertainment. You may not copy, sell, rent, sub-licence, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app or its contents, except where the law says you may regardless of this clause.
Do not use AFTERTRACE unlawfully, do not attempt to break or circumvent the app or the store's protections, and do not present its fictional content as real in a way that could mislead someone.
Case 01 is free and stays free whether or not you subscribe. The other cases are opened by All Access, a subscription with two options:
aftertrace.allaccess.weeklyaftertrace.allaccess.yearlyThe price, the billing period and the amount charged are shown in your own currency in the app before you buy, and the store confirms them again at purchase. Payment is taken by the App Store or Google Play, not by us.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you turn renewal off. On the App Store, renewal must be turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can turn it off at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; doing so stops the next charge and leaves your access running until the period you have already paid for ends. The steps are on the Refunds & Cancellations page.
A subscription belongs to the Apple account or Google account that bought it, on that platform. Your investigation progress is kept on your device and is not deleted if a subscription lapses.
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from:
Nothing in these terms affects the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
We do not promise that AFTERTRACE will remain available, or that any particular feature or case will exist in a future version.
AFTERTRACE, its name, artwork, writing, audio, characters and code belong to Beamaze or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you.
AFTERTRACE is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will suit any particular purpose. Nothing here excludes rights your local consumer law gives you that cannot be excluded.
To the extent the law allows, Beamaze is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of AFTERTRACE. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You may stop using AFTERTRACE at any time by deleting it. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription — cancel that in the store as described in section 5. We may end your licence if you break these terms.
These terms may change. The current version is always on this page with its date, and material changes will be surfaced before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
